Ari Gitlin DDS
A native New Yorker, Dr. Gitlin attended NYU College of Dentistry, then went on to complete a General Practice Residency Program as well as a Dental Anesthesiology Residency Program at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He has extensive training working with all departments in the hospital, and has completed over 2,000 sedation/general anesthesia cases in dental medicine, oral surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, urology, OB/GYN, pain management, pediatric surgery, and general surgery. Using his knowledge of airway management, Ari Gitlin, DDS has pursued a sub-specialty in Sleep Medicine after attending an extensive course in obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) at the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain in 2016. Dr. Gitlin actively treats OSA with Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT) for patients with mild/moderate OSA or those who cannot tolerate CPAP. Dr. Gitlin is a proud member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP), American Dental Association (ADA), American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA), New York State Dental Association (NYSDA), and Special Care Dentistry Association (SCDA).
